Best Time to Visit Malaysia

Peak Season (December to February & June to August)

This is the most popular time for travellers booking Malaysia tour packages from Bangalore. The weather is generally dry on the west coast (Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi), making it ideal for sightseeing and outdoor festivals like Chinese New Year.

Shoulder Season (March to May & September to October)

These months offer a balance of pleasant weather and fewer crowds. It is a great time to find balanced pricing on Bangalore to Malaysia packages while enjoying clear skies most of the day.

Off-Season (October to November)

The monsoon season hits the east coast heavily, but the west coast remains accessible with occasional afternoon showers. This is the best time to find the cheapest deals for a Malaysia tour from Bangalore.

How to Reach Malaysia from Bangalore?

By Air

Reaching Malaysia from Bangalore is incredibly convenient. Multiple airlines, including AirAsia, Malaysia Airlines, and IndiGo, operate direct flights from Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL). The flight duration is approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes. For those looking at budget-friendly Malaysia trip packages from Bangalore, low-cost carriers offer frequent connections, while full-service airlines provide a more premium experience for your trip to Malaysia.

Visa Requirements for Malaysia

  • Visa Type: Indian citizens benefit from visa-free entry for tourism and social visits to Malaysia for up to 30 days. This exemption is currently valid until December 31, 2026.

We recently travelled to Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur and booked our entire trip through Travalot. It was a family trip, and everything was arranged perfectly. Aman, who handled our booking, was very responsive and helpful throughout. The itinerary was well planned, the stays and transfers were smooth, and overall the experience was completely hassle-free. We are very happy with the service and highly recommend Travalot for a well-organized and comfortable trip

The experience was great. There was nothing that we could complain about regarding our tour and the itinerary. Everything was handled with great care any Abhishek. The only issue was with the hotel room. We stayed at Ramada encore, the room was too small and widow was a small rectangle located well above head level. It felt like living in a basement. Would advise to book another hotel or better rooms. Looking back at it, we were pretty happy with all the planning and accomodation tour provided.

We recently traveled to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi) with the help of Travalot, and I must say it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the very beginning, the team was extremely prompt and professional. A special mention to Rahul Raj Tripathi, who was always quick in responding to every query and message we dropped in the WhatsApp group. His patience and support made the whole journey smooth and stress-free. My husband had planned everything with Travalot, and they managed every detail perfectly. They created a WhatsApp group where they kept us updated with all the daily itineraries in advance, along with tickets for major attractions like the Sky Cable Car and Sky Bridge in Langkawi, as well as Genting Highlands and the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. This proactive planning saved us so much time and let us enjoy the trip without worrying about the logistics. The local drivers arranged by Travalot were also highly experienced, polite, and well-behaved. Honestly, we never once felt like we were in another country, it felt safe and comfortable throughout. A very big thank you to Rahul for his constant cooperation and support. Without his efforts, this trip wouldn’t have been as memorable for me and my husband. We truly had a beautiful time, and I would definitely choose Travalot again for our next vacation.
