Indian nationals visiting Singapore for vacation usually have to apply for a Singapore tourist visa in advance. Short-term visits for sightseeing, visiting relatives or friends, or engaging in leisure activities are permitted with a Singapore tourist visa.

Criteria for a Singapore Tourist Visa for Indians

Validity of a Singapore Tourist Visa
The duration of the tourist visa is one to three months. Additionally, it may be renewed for up to two years (at the embassy's discretion).

Duration of stay on a Singapore Tourist Visa
Although it depends on immigration, the maximum stay duration in Singapore is 30 days.

With a transit visa, visitors can leave the airport and spend no more than 96 hours exploring Singapore. As long as you fulfill the entry requirements, you can leave the airport for free if you qualify for the VFTF (Visa Free Transit Facility).
The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), India, Georgia, the People's Republic of China (PRC), Turkmenistan, and Ukraine are among the countries whose citizens can access VFTF.

The 96-hour VFTF may only be available to you if you are traveling through Singapore to or from a third country. The following conditions must be met to get the VFTF:
You can travel by any means to enter the country, but you must depart by air or sea.
You need to have a ticket for your next destination that leaves Singapore within the allotted 96 hours.

You must have a valid visa/long-term pass issued by one of the following nations for at least one month after the date of entry in Singapore under the VFTF:

There are steps you must take in order to apply for a visa. You can apply for a visa online in Singapore if you're applying through a local contact or a travel agency partner. Applying for a Singapore visa at least 30 days in advance is recommended.

Any authorized agency that has been approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can process your Singapore visa application. Once you have the necessary paperwork in place, your visa applications will be approved:

You can visit Singapore official website to see the status of your application. Click "Entry Visa" after selecting "Check Status" from the website's menu. A "Status Enquiry" button can be found at the bottom of the page. You can check your application by filling out the details and clicking "proceed."

Every visa application that is submitted is subject to a processing charge of INR 1,900. Regardless of the application's outcome, the fee is non-refundable and must be paid in full at the time the application is submitted.

The Authorized Visa Agents will charge a fixed service fee for each visa application in addition to the INR1,900 visa price. For urgent visa applications, there are no extra fees.

It is recommended that applicants apply for the entry visa through Authorized Visa Agents at the Singapore Consulate-General. Additional fees levied by unapproved third-party agents will not be covered by the Singapore Consulate-General.

Except on the day of submission, weekends, and holidays, your visa application will be handled within three to five working days. It could take longer to process some applications. Every visa application will be evaluated separately.
