Maya Bay

The cleanest turquoise ocean, a stunning blue sky, and 100-meter-tall limestone cliffs make Maya Bay an ideal destination for any traveler. Known for its classic elegance, it gained attention after appearing in the well-known Hollywood film Beach.
Maya Bay is located near Krabi, Thailand, in the Strait of Malacca, in the Andaman Sea. It is now a conserved area and is part of the Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park. The bay has a number of small beaches, the largest of which is around 200 meters long and only visible at low tide. Rich in exotic fish and underwater coral, the bay is a breathtakingly gorgeous large reef covered in silky soft, powdered white sand.
This location is a sanctuary for fans of marine life, with its diverse coral reefs and vibrantly colored fish. It is one of the most tranquil places in Thailand to do scuba diving or snorkeling. Another water sport that should not be missed is kayaking across the pristine waters. Another activity you should try if you have the space to spend the night under the stars is camping by the beach.
