Ubud
Ubud is a town situated in the uplands of Bali. Apart from its dense rainforests and paddy fields, Ubud is also known for its temples and shrines that speak a lot about the city’s culture and heritage. The outskirts within the Gianyar Regency has been a workplace for some of the world’s most renowned artisans and collectors. The Ubud Monkey Forest is one of the best places to visit here as you will see over 700 long-tailed macaques. The Forest also has some temples that have been sanctified by the local villagers.
By Air
There are no direct flights to Ubud because of which you will have to take a flight to the Denpasar International Airport from where you can rent a car or take a bus to Ubud.
By Road
You can take a bus or hire a cab to reach Ubud from Bali. Ubud is in the Gianyar Regency, so, don’t be confused when the road signs indicate Gianyar.
