• The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok are closed to visitors from October 26 until November 8, 2025, to accommodate royal merit-making ceremonies.​
  
• Some public events, especially those of a festive nature, have been rescheduled or postponed, such as the Vijit Chao Phraya Festival of Lights in Bangkok, which has shifted to December 1, 2025.​
  
• Traditional festivals like Sukhothai Loi Krathong continue, albeit with subdued celebrations and candlelight tributes reflecting national mourning.​
  
• Outside iconic royal sites, most attractions and services remain open, including restaurants, shopping centers, and transport facilities.
  

• Do wear modest, subdued clothing, especially when visiting temples, the Grand Palace, or sites displaying royal symbolism. Travelers are encouraged to wear black, white, or muted colors but are not required to wear traditional mourning attire.​
